HOP Faculty Member Invited to Attend PDMP Research Forum

Chris Delcher, Ph.D., research assistant professor in the Department of Health Outcomes & Policy, was recently invited to attend the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Research Forum: Identifying Priorities to Optimize Use and Improve Public Health in Washington, D.C., on May 28-29.

The invitation-only event brings together PDMP administrators, researchers, public health officials, and other stakeholders to define the current landscape of PDMP research, identify research gaps, and prioritize areas for future research. Discussions will focus on the use of PDMP data to facilitate epidemiological and surveillance activities, policy development and analysis, and improvements in clinical practice.

Acumentra Health, The Brandeis University Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Center of Excellence, the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Johns Hopkins Center for Drug Safety and Effectiveness, and The Pew Charitable Trusts serve as sponsors for the event.
